Kevin Durant: Still Rolling

Just one night after playing at Rucker Park and making the crowd go crazy with a vast array of 3 points shots, dunks, passes and dropping 66 points, Kevin Durant took his game to another New York tournament game the next day.  The Nike Pro City game that had taken place on August 2, 2011 a single day after Durant played at the world famous Rucker Park and he would still amaze and bedazzle the crowd as he showed no signs of weakness or being tired as he poured in 41 points and dished out 7 assists to win the game in overtime.  Durant has been making a big name for himself in these street ball tournaments. Most NBA players take this off season and relax and get ready for the upcoming NBA season but with the league in a lockout stage Durant has taken it upon himself to further exhibit his love for basketball and continue to dominate the competition wherever he goes. These two big back to back nights  are huge for Kevin Durant as he continues to make a bigger name for himself as one of the worlds most elite basketball players. After his big game at Rucker Park Durant took to his twitter page and tweeted “No lie, just had one of the best times in my life at Rucker Park….wow! I love NY.”  It seems as though this is just the beginning of what Durant has to show the world with his basketball talents. When the NBA season starts its safe to say that you do not have to worry about Durant being lazy from taking too much time off because he has not missed a beat since the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. Below is a video of Durant’s second big game in a row in New  York yesterday.
